Terms of Use

OpenHomeVue — a product of RenaVue Technologies LLC Effective date: May 25, 2026 Last updated: June 14, 2026

Please read these Terms of Use ("Terms") carefully before using the OpenHomeVue mobile application and website (the "Service"), operated by RenaVue Technologies LLC. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Who We Are

RenaVue Technologies LLC ("we," "our," or "us") operates OpenHomeVue, a home-hunting companion application that helps home buyers curate property watch lists, plan tours, and record visit notes.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this age requirement. If you are using the Service on behalf of a business or as a real estate professional, you represent that you have the authority to bind that entity to these Terms.

3. Accounts

3.1 Registration

You may sign up using Google, Apple sign-in, or email. You agree to provide accurate information and keep it current. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.

3.2 Account Types

3.3 Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or engage in activity harmful to the Service or other users. You may delete your account at any time from Settings → Delete account.

4. Buyer Features — Free

All features available to home buyers in the Service are provided free of charge. We do not charge buyers subscription fees or impose paywalls on buyer-facing functionality.

5. Your Content

5.1 Ownership

You retain ownership of all content you create in the Service — notes, photos, scores, and other materials ("Your Content"). You grant us a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to store, process, and display Your Content solely to provide the Service to you.

5.2 Responsibility

You are solely responsible for Your Content. You agree not to submit content that is illegal, defamatory, infringing, or otherwise harmful. We reserve the right to remove content that violates these Terms.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

7. Property Information and Third-Party Sources

The Service is a personal home-research workspace. You may use it to record and organize information about properties you are researching, including details you access from third-party listing sites you are already visiting (such as a real estate brokerage or listing portal), using your own device and your own access to those sites. You decide when, and for which properties, to do this. OpenHomeVue does not operate any server-side process that browses, fetches, scrapes, or collects listing content from third-party sites on your behalf; any access to a listing page happens on your own device, at your direction.

You are responsible for your own access to any third-party site and for ensuring that your use of it complies with that site's terms of use. To help you evaluate the properties you save, the Service also supplements them with information drawn from public and governmental data sources (see Section 18). All property information in the Service — whether entered by you, accessed by you from third-party sources, or drawn from public data — is provided for your personal, informational use only, and OpenHomeVue does not guarantee its accuracy, completeness, or timeliness.

8. License to Use the Service

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, OpenHomeVue grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service on Apple-branded devices you own or control, in accordance with Apple's Media Services Terms and Conditions. No other rights are granted.

The Service is provided for your personal, non-commercial home-research and educational use only. It is a tool to help you organize your own home search and learn about properties and neighborhoods — not a professional, commercial, or investment-grade information service. You agree not to use the Service, or any information you obtain through it, for commercial purposes or in a professional capacity (for example, as a real estate, lending, appraisal, or insurance professional acting for clients), and not to rely on it as a substitute for independent professional advice or your own due diligence.

9. Intellectual Property

All software, design, trademarks, and other materials comprising the Service (excluding Your Content) are owned by or licensed to OpenHomeVue. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from the Service or its components without our prior written consent.

In the event of any third-party claim that the Service or your use of it infringes that third party's intellectual property rights, OpenHomeVue — not Apple — is solely responsible for the investigation, defense, settlement, and discharge of any such claim.

10. Privacy

Your use of the Service is governed by our Privacy Policy, available at openhomevue.com/privacy, which is incorporated by reference into these Terms.

11. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.

OpenHomeVue does not:

12. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, OPENHOMEVUE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF DATA, LOSS OF PROFITS, OR LOST OPPORTUNITIES, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM OR (B) USD $50.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless OpenHomeVue and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, liabilities, damages, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from: (a) your use of the Service; (b) Your Content; (c) your violation of these Terms; or (d) your violation of any third-party rights.

14. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any dispute arising from these Terms or the Service shall be resolved by binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association under its Consumer Arbitration Rules, except that either party may seek injunctive relief in a court of competent jurisdiction for intellectual property or data security matters.

Class action waiver: You agree that disputes will be resolved on an individual basis and you waive any right to bring or participate in a class action or representative proceeding.

15. App Store Terms

If you downloaded the Service from the Apple App Store, the following additional terms apply:

16. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will provide at least 14 days' notice via in-app notification before the changes take effect. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

17. General Provisions

17.1 Severability

If any provision of these Terms is held invalid or unenforceable, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.

17.2 Survival

Provisions that by their nature should survive — including Sections 5 (Your Content), 9 (Intellectual Property), 11 (Disclaimers), 12 (Limitation of Liability), 13 (Indemnification), and 14 (Governing Law and Dispute Resolution) — survive any termination or deletion of your account.

17.3 Assignment

You may not assign or transfer these Terms or your account without our prior written consent. We may assign these Terms, in whole or in part, without restriction or notice — for example, in connection with a merger, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of assets.

18. Data Sources and Attribution

To help you research the properties you save, the Service supplements them with information drawn from public and governmental data sources. These include, among others, the U.S. Census Bureau, the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), the U.S. Geological Survey, the California Geological Survey, the U.S. Forest Service, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, and school information from the U.S. Department of Education's National Center for Education Statistics (NCES) and the California Department of Education (CDE). Maps and geocoding are provided by Mapbox and © OpenStreetMap contributors.

This information is sourced from public records and is provided for general, informational purposes only. It may not be current, complete, or accurate, and it is not a substitute for independent verification or professional advice. You should confirm any data that matters to your decisions directly with the relevant agency, school district, or other authoritative source. Hazard and seismic information in particular is generalized and is not a substitute for a site-specific geologic or engineering investigation.
